Abstract
Forensic odontology or forensic dentistry is the implementation of the knowledge regarding the dentalaspects in criminal cases or mass disaster where identification of an individual is done by his or her dental records. Palatoscopy is one of the method used in forensics for disaster victim identification (DVI). The principal behind dental identification lies in the fact that no two oral cavities are not same.
