Brig. (Dr) Paramjit Singh Dhot is serving as the CEO & Executive Chairman of Publishing at IP Innovative Publication Pvt. Ltd. He was Dean Professor of Pathology at Santosh Medical College, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, PhD, MD, DNB, teacher at various universities. An eminent, accredited and renowned Pathologist, Haematologist, Transfusion Medicine Specialist, Stem cell expert, Cellular Therapy, Regenerative Medicine professional with over 34 years of experience in serving in the Indian Army.
Experienced at setting up laboratories and blood banks, he set up 52 blood banks for the Indian Armed Forces, Stem Cell Banks, and designed the Molecular Biology, Genetics and HLA Laboratory at Apollo Bramwell Hospital, Mauritius, including ISO Accreditation. Established the first Haematopoietic Stem Cell Bank in India, at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune in December 2000. Served as Medical Director and Professor at the Armed Forces Medical College.
He has published 120 research publications and is the editor of three books, Stem Cell Banking and Transplantation, Community Cord Blood Banking and Regenerative Medicine, Cellular Therapy and Tissue Engineering.
Awarded the Vishisht Sewa Medal (equivalent to the 4th highest civilian award) by the President of India for exemplary professional services. Past President of the Indian Society of Hematology & Transfusion Medicine & Delhi Society of Haematology, Member of the Governing Body of Stem Cell Research Committee, National AIDS Control Organization, ICMR and Editorial Boards of various Medical Journals, Recipient of numerous academic awards.
