Innovative request that reviewers notify the journal editor if they have a conflict of interest that could influence the review report, whether positively or negatively. The editorial office team will verify as thoroughly as possible prior to the invitation, but we value the assistance of reviewers regarding this issue. Reviewers who are asked to evaluate a manuscript they have previously assessed for a different journal do not see this as a conflict of interest on its own. Possessing a financial stake, either directly or indirectly, in the research paper under review. Advantage, either professional or personal, gained from the evaluation.
