Portico works with publishers, libraries, and other institutions to provide long-term preservation of digital content, ensuring that it remains available even if the original sources become unavailable or are no longer maintained. This service is crucial for the academic and research community, maintaining the continuity and integrity of scholarly communication.

Innovative retains copies of the submitted manuscript and supporting files. However, articles that are rejected will comply with requests from authors to delete files for the purpose of record-keeping.
