Research and Publication Ethics

Research Ethics Involving Human, Animal, and Plants

When reporting studies on human subjects, indicate whether the procedures followed were under the ethical standards of the responsible committee on human experimentation (institutional or regional) and with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975, as revised in 2000, available here. Do not use patients’ names, initials, or hospital numbers, especially in illustrative material. Written consent for publication must be signed by participating patients. Participants' data must be explained, and personal information of patients need not be disclosed unless it’s an identifiable matter to relevant research, such as patients' photographs, showing particular complications.

A manuscript that contains case details, such as personal information and patient images, requires authors to retain signed informed consent for publication from patients or their relatives/guardians prior to submission to the Innovative Publication journal. Patient details should keep as anonymous as possible; for instance, avoid mentioning age, ethnicity, occupation, or relationships unless they are pertinent to the conclusions. A Patient Permission Template form is available for download. A basic variant of the form utilized to request permission, excluding the patient's name or signature, should be uploaded with your submission. The editor maintains the authority to decline any submission that fails to satisfy these standards.

After discussing with your affiliated university about publishing with us, the author may suggest utilizing our example form and provide a suitable form. Unrestricted permission for publication in all modes, including print, online, and both print and online versions, as well as in reprinted and sublicensed editions and other works and products published under an open access license, must be granted by the Journal and Consent form. The publisher does not specify the kinds of submissions that are considered fully licensed authorship. Authors are advised to follow the authorship guidelines specific to their field of study.

The editorial office will review the submitted manuscript or, if requested, for verification of documents associated with the discussion papers. Research that describes groups according to ethnicity, gender, handicap, sickness, religion, etc. must properly explain why such categorization is necessary.

Patient Consent Forms

Concerned Participants should make their own decision about whether they want to participate or continue participating in research. It ought to be carried out via a patient permission form procedure whereby the patient's personal information is appropriately informed of the research's goals, procedures, advantages, hazards, and alternative facts. Determine whether or not to engage voluntarily after understanding this material and how it applies to their own clinical situation in research or interests. A statement to the effect that such consent had been obtained must be considered in the Material and Methods section of your manuscript. When necessary, Editors may also request a copy of consent forms.

A Patient Permission Template form is also available for author’s kind perusal.

Duplicate Submission:

In case a duplicate submission is found or noticed from other sources, the editorial board should check the status. On confirmation as an internal thing, the review process will be terminated, notifying the reason to reviewers, the editorial board, authors, and corresponding authors. All the authors will be marked as blacklisted; they won’t be able to submit any manuscript to these journals for the next three years.
